      <p>An Act to amend the <i>Crimes Act </i>1914.</p>
      <p>[Assented to 7th May, 1915.]</p>
      <p>BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—</p>
      <p>
        <b>Short title, citation, and duration.</b>
      </p>
      <p><b>1.</b>—(1.)	This Act may be cited as the <i>Crimes Act</i><i> </i>1915.</p>
      <p>(2.)	The <i>Crimes Act</i><i> </i>1914, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the <i>Crimes Act</i><i> </i>1914-1915.</p>
      <p>(3.)	This Act shall continue in force during the continuance of the war and for six months thereafter, and no longer.</p>

        <heading>Conspiracy to defraud the Commonwealth.</heading>
        <content>
          <p><b>2.</b>	Section eighty-six of the <i>Crimes Ac</i><i>t </i>1914 is amended by inserting after paragraph (<i>d</i>)<b><i> </i></b>the following words:—</p>
          <p>“or</p>
          <p>(<i>e</i>)<b><i> </i></b>to defraud the Commonwealth.”</p>

        <heading>Commencement of operation.</heading>
        <content>
          <p><b>3.</b>	This Act shall be deemed to have been in force from the date of the commencement of the <i>Crimes Ac</i><i>t </i>1914.</p>
