        <heading>Short title</heading>
        <content>
          <p>		This Act may be cited as the <i>Meteorology Amendment (Online Advertising)</i><i> Act 201</i><i>4</i>.</p>

        <heading>Commencement</heading>
        <content>
          <p>This Act commences on the day this Act receives the Royal Assent.</p>
        </content>

        <heading>Schedule(s)</heading>
        <content>
          <p>Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its terms.</p>

                <p>The Bureau may include advertising on, in or in connection with any of its services.</p>

              <num>2</num>
              <content>
                <p>The Director must develop and publish guidelines relating to advertising.</p>
              </content>
            </hcontainer>

              <content>
                <p>Guidelines made under subsection (2) are not a legislative instrument.</p>

            <heading>Section 8</heading>

              <p>After “advice,”, insert “services,”.</p>

            <heading>Validation</heading>
            <content>
              <p>To avoid doubt, any act or thing done in connection with the inclusion of advertising on any of the Bureau’s services before the commencement of this item is, and is taken always to have been, as valid as that act or thing would have been if the act or thing had been done after the commencement of this item.</p>
