          <p>		This Act may be cited as the <i>Passports </i><i>Legislation </i><i>Amendment </i><i>(Integrity)</i><i> Act 201</i><i>5</i>.</p>

        <heading>Commencement</heading>
        <subsection eId="sec-2__subsec-1">

            <p>Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.</p>

              <content>
                <p>A travel-related document may be issued to a person:</p>
              </content>
            </hcontainer>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-a">
              <num>a</num>
              <content>
                <p>on application by, or on behalf of, a person and in the circumstances specified in a Minister’s determination; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-b">
              <num>b</num>
              <content>
                <p>on <role refersTo="#minister">the Minister</role>’s own initiative, if <role refersTo="#minister">the Minister</role> is satisfied that such a document is required:</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-i">
              <num>i</num>
              <content>
                <p>to remove, deport or extradite the person from Australia; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-ii">
              <num>ii</num>
              <content>
                <p>to facilitate the deportation of the person to Australia; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-iii">
              <num>iii</num>
              <content>
                <p>to extradite the person to Australia; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-4__para-iv">
              <num>iv</num>
              <content>
                <p>if the person is a prisoner—to effect the transfer of the person.</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>

                <p>each person who has parental responsibility for the child consents to the child having an Australian travel document; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>

                <p>an order of a court of the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory permits:</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-6__para-i">
              <num>i</num>
              <content>
                <p>the child to have an Australian travel document; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-6__para-ii">
              <num>ii</num>
              <content>
                <p>the child to travel internationally; or</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>
            <paragraph eId="schedule-1__clause-6__para-iii">
              <num>iii</num>
              <content>
                <p>the child to live or spend time with another person who is outside Australia.</p>
              </content>
            </paragraph>

                <p>information given in, or in connection with, the application:</p>
